An Optimist is the Human Personification of Spring

I'm on a role with new things in my life. Got a new blog and a brand new hobby - ooooh yah! I discovered this new passion at the Chi Omega Alum April social where we painted pottery. While you're not throwing the pottery, its still a great creative outlet (and it is completely addictive). I've made six pieces so far - a vase, a dish, and the start to a dinner set. Inspired by many friends' blogs and creative encouragement from Gavin, I've decided that I would give blogging a go around. I cannot guarantee that this experiment will work, be consistent, or even readable; but I think the effort to keep my family and friends in the know is totally worth it!
